I currently work at Clifford Chance, a magic circle law firm, as a Knowledge and Information Officer. I have a degree in Philosophy & Literature from Warwick University and an MA in Library & Information Studies from UCL.
While studying my MA, I won the SLA Europe’s Early Career Conference Award (ECCA) for the Legal Division, which enabled me to travel to SLA’s annual conference in Chicago. Since attending the conference I have become further involved with the European chapter of the Special Libraries Association, the world’s leading association for information professionals and special librarians, volunteering as the blog editor for a year, and currently volunteering as SLA Europe’s secretary. I am also a member of the the blog the SLA Board and their Digital Communications Committee. More recently, I won the Non-U.S. Law Librarian Grant 2014 to attend SLA’s annual conference in Vancouver, Canada.
Aside from libraries, I also love Irish dancing, baking extravagant party cake, planning impossible holidays and anything Disney related.
